A story on Metro News focused on the warning from nearly 300 academics that BC Hydro’s proposed Site C dam would wreak more environmental damage than any other project in Canada in 25 years.
“…Site C is an unprecedented case,” said Karen Bakker, Canada Research Chair in Water Governance at UBC. “We’re impacting Canada’s largest river system, which has incredible ecological importance, and importance to First Nations downstream.”
