Dr. Bill Bowie, professor of medicine at UBC in the division of infectious diseases, joined CBC B.C. Almanac for a conversation about lyme disease in B.C.
“Lyme disease is a tick transmitted infection,” said Dr. Bowie. “The amount of lyme in ticks here (B.C) is substantially less than in other parts of Canada where rates of lyme disease are truly rising at a very disturbing rate.”
