Sumeet Gulati, a UBC professor of environmental and resource economics was quoted in a story for the National Observer on preparing for natural disasters as climate instability increases.
“People who are living in flood plains should be concerned,” Gulati said. “People who are living in areas with more drought, which are under drought warning now and don’t have enough water to last the summer should be concerned.”
