The Vancouver Sun reported on research from UBC’s Department of Emergency Medicine that found B.C. child seat laws have been effective.
The findings showed that the updated legislation, strengthened in 2008 to add booster seats for four- to eight-year-olds, led to a 10.8 per cent reduction in injuries.
