B.C. realtors advise more education and mentorship for new agents

UBC’s Sauder School of Business real estate licensing course was featured in a Globe and Mail story on the need for more education for B.C. real estate agents.

“My understanding is that the [real estate] council is satisfied with the programs and they’re well served by the programs we offer,” said David Moore who has overseen the UBC program for over 20 years.

High-profile real estate agents and industry insiders have said increasing mentorship and having tougher licensing regulations is essential to improving the quality of realtors in a hot housing market like Vancouver.
