The Vancouver Sun highlighted viewing spots set up for Mercury’s transit of the sun Monday morning.
Members of the Vancouver Centre chapter of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada set up three telescopes in Granville Square, and UBC’s physics and astronomy department had several telescopes set up at the university campus, with professors available to answer questions from the public.
