UBC transportation expert Robin Lindsey believes a simple user-pay system could be effective for Metro Vancouver’s major crossings, the Delta Optimist reports.
“People recognize that to get a high quality service of almost any sort in the economy, you have to pay for it,” said Lindsey. “Why should roads be different? Why should it be only publicly funded?”
