A new article in the Toronto Star highlighted two former students of an all-girls’ school in Toronto who now identify as men.
The article mentioned a 2015 national survey led by UBC researcher Elizabeth Saewyc, which found that nearly two-thirds of transgender youth tried to harm themselves in the past year.
