- A postdoctoral fellows office, which acts as a resource centre to help postdocs expand their professional skills
- Learning and development programs for employees including Coaching@UBC, career and personal development workshops, and an academic leadership development program for faculty
- “Hot Lunch,” a cross-campus networking initiative that provides staff with opportunities to connect with colleagues in other departments.
