UBC/UNBC environmental engineering team wins student design competition

Team Undine Energy Solutions, composed of undergraduate students from the joint UBC-UNBC Environmental Engineering program, finished first in the B.C. Water and Waste Association 2015 Student Design Competition. Teams were challenged to sketch out an anaerobic digestion system plan to digest sludge to produce biogas at the City of Kelowna’s wastewater treatment plant. The team of UBC/UNBC students included Stephanie Doherty, Maureen Long, Allison Matfin, Clayton McBride and Brenden Vissers. More information here.
