Electrical and computer engineering professor David Michelson and Telus chief technology officer Ibrahim Gedeon received the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) Conference Leadership Award for their efforts in co-chairing IEEE’s 2014 Vehicular Technology Conference in Vancouver. The event brought together over one hundred engineers and managers from Metro Vancouver and the Pacific Northwest to discuss and exchange ideas in the fields of wireless, mobile, and vehicular technology.
