Seven UBC professors elected to Royal Society of Canada

Seven UBC faculty members have been inducted into the Royal Society of Canada (RSC). Five professors have been elected Fellows of the Royal Society, the highest honour a scholar can achieve in the arts, humanities and sciences in Canada. Two have been admitted to RSC’s College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists.

The two UBC inductees to the RSC’s College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists are:

UBC’s new RSC Fellows are among 90 elected by their peers for this year’s induction. UBC’s new RSC scholars are among 91 inducted this year. Formal induction into all RSC categories is scheduled for November in Quebec City. For more info, click here.
