UBC’s Doug Mitchell Thunderbird Sports Centre will be a host venue for the intercontinental round of the 2014 FIVB Volleyball World League. Canada (ranked 11th) will take on Belgium (ranked 37th) at UBC on June 13 and 14. Two of Team Canada’s players are former UBC volleyball players Blair Bann and Steve Gotch.
