Nursing professor Susan Dahinten, who led the evaluation research for the first three years of the Fostering Early Development (FED) Program, was recently shortlisted for the Premier’s Award of Excellence in Partnerships. FED conducts developmental screening and follow-up services for children in care who are younger than six years to track health screening and immunizations, and provide training and support for caregivers and staff.
