The Tandem UBC Language Exchange Program is available to UBC students, faculty and staff who are interested in pairing up with participants to learn each other’s language. Partners meet every week for an hour and a half from September 23 to November 29, 2013. The student-run program is free of charge and supports the pairs by providing space, advice and ideas for activities. Past participants have offered English, Mandarin, Spanish, Japanese, French, Cantonese, Farsi, Korean, Russian, Tagalog, Arabic, Swedish, Danish, German, Italian, Turkish, Hebrew, and Ukrainian.
