UBC Mechanical Engineering professor Peter Cripton’s research on concussions and spinal injury was featured in an article on the Canada Foundation for Innovation’s website titled “Putting Our Heads Together Safely.” The article describes the Pro-Neck-Tor™, the prototype sports helmet developed by Cripton and his team designed to prevent concussions and spinal injury resulting from head-first impact.
