UBC School of Nursing’s Honorary Professor Beverly Witter DuGas passed away November 22, 2012. Her major contributions to Canadian nursing and nursing education have been recognized with numerous honours. DuGas was a dedicated attendee at many UBC Nursing events in recent years, and was always willing to engage in dialogue and debate about nursing education.
