Three more members of UBC’s community have received the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal:
• Sarah Morgan-Silvester, Chancellor of UBC
• Chuck Slonecker, professor emeritus in Cellular and Physiological Sciences
• Muhammad Iqbal, professor emeritus in Mechanical Engineering
The medal was created to mark the 2012 celebrations of the 60th anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s accession to the Throne as Queen of Canada and serves to honour significant contributions and achievements by Canadians. For more information, click here.
