UBC civil engineering professor Ken Elwood, who was attending an earthquake engineering conference in Christchurch New Zealand at the time of the quake on Feb. 22, 2011, shared his expertise in a videoconference on April 6 titled “Briefing on February Christchurch New Zealand Earthquake.”
