Prof. Janice Eng from the Dept. of Physical Therapy, is a recipient of the 2010 YWCA Vancouver Women of Distinction awards in the category of Health and Active Living.
“I share the vision of the YWCA, who support physical activity across the lifespan,” Eng said in her acceptance speech at the event that included two faculty members and one alumna as nominees in other categories.
UBC was also a nominee in the category of Innovative Workplace.
