A memorial celebration will be held for Abraham Jedidiah Rogatnick, former UBC professor of architecture. In 1959 he initiated a Study Abroad Program that provides students with learning experiences in cities around the world. He retired as professor emeritus in 1985.
Rogatnick was also the co-founder of the first contemporary art gallery in Vancouver, co-founder of the Arts Club Theatre, Fulbright Scholar, and Fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada.
