His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate
and religious and spiritual leader, will make a rare visit
to UBC and Vancouver April 18 – 20, 2004. Members of the media
and technical support personnel wishing to take advantage
of media opportunities will require accreditation, available
via on-line application by March 31.
Details about media opportunities during the visit and an
on-line accreditation form are available to the media at the
Media and Press Centre portion of the official Web site (www.dalailamavancouver.org/media).
We will not be able to credential freelance journalists or
documentary filmmakers without a confirmed assignment. Due
to space considerations, we may not be able to accommodate
all the press requests we receive. Media members who have
filled out the accreditation form by the deadline will be
informed of their status by April 5, 2004.
