His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, Nobel Peace Prize Laureate
and religious and spiritual leader, will make a rare visit
to UBC and Vancouver April 18 – 20, 2004. The Dalai Lama’s
last visit to Vancouver was in 1993.
Details about media opportunities during the visit and an
on-line accreditation form are now available to the media
at the Media and Press Centre portion of the official Web
site (www.dalailamavancouver.org/media).
All members of the media and technical support personnel
must be accredited. We will not be able to credential freelance
journalists or documentary filmmakers without a confirmed
assignment. Due to space considerations, we may not be able
to accommodate all the press requests we receive.
Media should complete the accreditation form by March 31,
2004. You will be informed of your status by April 5, 2004.
