Dana Merritt has joined UBC as director of the Budget Office in the Office
of the Vice-President, Administration and Finance.
Merritt will be responsible for ensuring that UBC’s financial resources are
aligned with its strategic priorities. She takes over from John Chase who retired
this summer.
Merritt holds a Bachelor of Commerce from UBC and is a chartered accountant.
She has experience in financial planning, budgeting and treasury. She was previously
director of Financial Services at Vancouver Community College.
