UBC’s new dean of Commerce and Business Administration, Daniel Muzyka, Nobel
Prize-winning physicist Sam Ting and Dr. Doris Kavanagh-Gray, former head of
Cardiology at St. Paul’s Hospital are among the speakers participating in this
season’s free public lecture series offered by the Vancouver Institute.
The fall 1999 season comprises 10 lectures held on Saturday evenings at 8:15
p.m. from Sept. 25 to Dec. 4. All lectures take place in Lecture Hall 2 of the
Woodward Instructional Resources Centre.
