Ellen Wiebe, a UBC professor in the faculty of medicine, was quoted in a CBC article about doctor-assisted dying laws following the suicide of a 27-year-old Ontario man.
Wiebe said she would have difficulty assisting with the death of someone so young with a non-terminal illness.
