The Times of India quoted John Innes, the dean of UBC’s faculty of forestry, in a story about the economic values of forests.
Speaking at the Commonwealth Forestry Conference, Innes said forests are involved in many industries including carbon sequestration, bioenergy, and the provision of freshwater.
