Workplace toxic handlers pay for resolving co-worker conflict

The Georgia Straight reported on research by UBC Sauder School of Business professor Sandra Robinson and her colleague Peter Frost on toxic handlers, or individuals who resolve conflict in workplaces.

They discovered that these people accumulated unmanageable stress levels that impacted their health, career, and ability to help others over the long term.

Robinson recommended that organizations should identify toxic handlers for their efforts to help them avoid burnout.
