The Globe and Mail published a Bloomberg article quoting David Ley, a UBC geographer, about the increasing number of Chinese home buyers in Seattle following Vancouver’s foreign buyers tax.
“Chinese money isn’t going to sit and wait,” Ley said. “Investors are going to find another city,” and he said Toronto and Seattle are the top two contenders.
