Maxwell Cameron, a UBC political scientist, spoke to City TV about Canadian electoral reform.
Cameron provided an example of potential changes to our current system.
“We could mix the single-member transferable vote systems with some form of mixed-member proportional systems,” he said. “We could do things that would guarantee that voters still have a direct connection to their elected representatives.”
