An engineering undergraduate team has been awarded first place in the Environmental Division of the 2014 Water Environment Federation Annual Technical Exhibition and Conference Student Design Competition. Environmental engineering students Stephen Bertulli, David Saabas, Michael Thiessen and Robert D’Amours and chemical engineering student David Houghton created a solution for the city of Coquitlam to continue with proposed development while protecting salmon in Star Creek.
