The BBC quoted Kai Chan, a professor at the institute for resources, environment and sustainability, in an article about a UN report on the future of humanity.
“Few governments fully understand the magnitude of the problems we face. Most deny the reality of the existential threat we face,” said Chan, who was one of the lead authors of the report.
