Multiple media outlets reported on a new device developed by researchers at UBC which eases pain in premature babies.
Liisa Holsti, a professor in the department of occupational science and occupational therapy, explained that the device replaces a mattress inside an incubator and is programmed with information on a parent’s heartbeat and breathing motion.
