The Hamilton Spectator quoted Jie Cheng, lecturer at UBC’s Peter A. Allard School of Law, about the “P” passport used for short trips abroad.
“First, it’s a proof of approval of the institution for the individual employee to go abroad … It’s also approval to use public money to fund the overseas travel,” she said.
