Haida Gwaii home to a distinct but vulnerable pocket of northern goshawks

The Canadian Press reported on a study from UBC which has found that a population of northern goshawks in Haida Gwaii are the last of a distinct genetic cluster of the birds.

Study authors Armando Geraldes and Darren Irwin spoke about how the birds have remained isolated.
