Apple trees from Isaac Newton’s bring ‘magic’ to universities around the world

The Canadian Press reported on the apple trees on the campus of TRIUMF, a physics laboratory co-founded by and located at UBC.

The trees, which arrived in Vancouver in 1971, are descendants of the original apple tree where Isaac Newton considered the laws of gravity.

The story appeared on CTV, CBC, Globe and Mail and other media outlets.
