The Globe and Mail mentioned several UBC experts in an article about unexplained medical symptoms and the use of Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (ISTDP), a psychological approach that deals with unconscious negative emotions.
John Ogrodniczuk, director of UBC’s psychotherapy program, Robert Tarzwell, a clinical assistant professor of psychiatry at UBC, and Michael Negraeff, the head of pain management at UBC’s department of anesthesiology, pharmacology and therapeutics, were quoted in the story.
