UBC Okanagan engineering students hope to stop donation-bin deaths

Several media outlets published articles about engineering students at UBC’s Okanagan campus who are designing safer clothing donation bins in the wake of a series of injuries and deaths of people getting stuck.

Students of Ray Taheri, the senior instructor who set the project, presented their designs at the APSC 171 Engineering One Design Competition.
