The Ottawa Citizen featured alumnus Pierre Cloutier de Repentigny, who gained a Master of Laws degree at UBC. He is one of two uOttawa graduate students to receive the coveted Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation Scholarship, which he said gives him the freedom to contribute to other causes for social justice, primarily relating to LGBTQ minority rights.
