The Canadian Press quoted Paul Evans, a professor in the school of public policy and global affairs at UBC, in an article about Canada’s reaction to China’s incarceration of Muslim minorities in re-education camps. Evans said that China’s hardline response places it on “a collision course with Western values of freedom of religion, Western values on culture.”
The article appeared in the Financial Post, National Observer and MSN.
