An article appeared in CBC about a vulnerable young man whose plight was highlighted by Mary Ellen Turpel-Lafond, a UBC law professor and B.C.’s former representative for children and youth.
“This is a very important case and this individual is a very significant individual — as is anyone else. But the level of jeopardy of his liberty, his choice in his life is enormous,” says Turpel-Lafond.
