Elizabeth Wolkovich, a researcher and professor of forest and conservation sciences at UBC, was quoted in a Washington Post article about the effects of climate change on wine industries.
“What happens to the existing regions that are famous?” she asked. “If they don’t make changes or they don’t make them fast enough, I think there will be a reshuffling of where the great wines are made.”
