Trans Mountain ruling: Victory for environmentalists, but a setback for action on climate change

The Conversation published an op-ed by David Tindall, a UBC sociology professor, about a ruling in the Federal Court of Appeal involving the Trans Mountain pipeline.

“While the quashing of NEB approval of the pipeline is a victory for environmentalists in one sense, it puts carbon pricing in serious jeopardy — a classic ‘glass half full’ scenario for environmentalists like me,” he wrote.
