Kelowna Capital News reported that researchers at UBC’s Okanagan campus developed a new method to judge the effectiveness of experimental therapies for neurodegeneration.
Aaron Johnstone, lead study author and a postdoctoral fellow, said the study uses the first automated test specifically designed for measuring degeneration of sensory neurons grown in a lab.
