Dementia risk higher for those with lung disease but could be treated with oxygen therapy

Express UK reported on a UBC study on effect of oxygen therapy for people with lung disease.

Ryan Hoiland, a PhD student at UBC’s Okanagan campus, and his colleagues found that breathing in additional oxygen could help fight dementia in people with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
