Diane McIntosh, a clinical assistant professor in UBC’s department of psychiatry, wrote an op-ed for The Province about abuse in psychiatric wards.
“I urge anyone who experiences or witnesses a dehumanizing, threatening, traumatizing or humiliating psychiatric hospital admission to speak out,” she wrote.
