B.C. academic aims to debunk housing supply myth amidst criticism

Nathanael Lauster, a UBC sociology professor and housing expert, was quoted in a Metro News story on a new study by Kwantlen Polytechnic University instructor John Rose.

Rose’s research showed that for every 100 households added in the Vancouver area, about 119 dwellings were also added, suggesting that building new supply may not be the way out of the affordability crisis.
