Endangered orcas compete with seals, sea lions for salmon

Andrew Trites, a professor and director of the marine mammal research unit at UBC, spoke to the Associated Press about a study that examined competition among marine mammals for the same food.

Trites, who was not involved in the study, said it does a very good job of accounting for who eats chinook salmon during its various life stages.

The AP story appeared in the Washington Post, ABC, CTV, National Post and Times Colonist.
