Castanet featured UBC research that aims to implement a protected wildlife corridor on the east side of Okanagan Lake.
Lael Parrott, a professor of biology and earth and environmental sciences at UBC’s Okanagan campus, said the area is in danger of fragmenting low-elevation ecosystems and losing the habitat and movement routes essential for wildlife.
