NDP, experts want more control over Canadian arms sales abroad

Michael Byers, the Canada Research Chair in Global Politics and International Law at UBC and a defence expert, was quoted in a story on iPolitics about Canadians arms sales abroad.

He said the growth in Canadian military exports demonstrates a need for the Liberal government to go even further than it has with the Arms Trade Treaty legislation, Bill C-47, and also amend the bill.
